Saturday - In the morning hours I tweaked the Howell’s DJ Service website and the Adwords campaign I’m running for it. Angie and I went to my youngest son’s T-ball game and brought the kiddos back with us. After a quick stop at Wal-Mart, we came home to decompress. I spent the afternoon out in the barn making frames out of old barn wood. They turned out kinda cool. My oldest son and I went to Dylan Oliphant’s high school graduation party. Back home, we had supper then gathered up popcorn and candy to go to the Winchester Airline Drive-In for “Land of the Lost” and “Night at the Museum 2″.  We got home around 1:30am.

Sunday - After a late morning, we had dinner at my parent’s house. Around 2pm, my son’s and I started walking. My oldest son missed a 10 mile hike with the Boy Scouts and Sunday afternoon provided the opportunity to make it up. 10 miles is a lot! I was hurting by the time we finished. Once the kiddos were returned, Angie and I watched the movie “Blood Diamond”. Good movie, quite long though!

Tuesday, June 2nd

Friday

Saturday - Angie and I went into Muncie to shop for new clothes for our upcoming Disney trip. The kiddos met us in Muncie. For lunch, we went to the kiddos favorite place, Taco Bell. Later that afternoon, we loaded up the DJ equipment. Angie and I made our way back into Muncie for the wedding of Megan Stack and Aaron Hoover. We ran the sound for the ceremony in addition to providing the reception entertainment. It all went very well and I think everyone had a great time. Congrats to Aaron and Megan!

Sunday - After church in the morning, we had Sunday dinner down at my parent’s house. We had juicy ham, potatoes, peas, and cheesy cauliflower. Good stuff. Back at home, we played some board games and then went fishing down at the ponds. Once the kiddos were returned, Angie and I took a short bike ride and then had tacos for dinner while watching ‘Bazaar Foods”. Before dark, I helped my dad load soybeans in the planter down at Violet’s.

Saturday - I picked up the kiddos and we enjoyed some Pizza King pizza for lunch. Most of the day was spent farming with my dad. My oldest son helped out too. My daughter washed the car. Angie made her way out towards the evening hours.

Sunday - My daughter, my oldest son and I headed out to the Farmland Conservation Club around 10am to run the concession stand for the Boy Scouts. We sold breakfast food then hot dogs and hamburgers the rest of the time. I listened to the Indy 500 on the radio while we worked. We were done at 3pm and came back home.

Saturday - It was a early morning as I loaded up the car with junk to sell at the Farmland Town Rummage. We treated ourselves to donuts and coffee while we sat there for 3 hours. I made $5 bucks. I was a bit disappointed with the foot traffic. Oh well, the Muncie Mission is going to have some nice stuff shortly :-)

After I picked up the kiddos, we set up a tent in my living room. My daughter had a friend over. Their plan was to camp outside, but due to the weather, we changed plans and camped out inside. My son and I loaded up the car that evening and made our way to the Delaware Country Club for the Staton Wedding Reception. My son helped me setup and tear down. We were treated to a yummy dinner by the Country Club Staff of brats, mac and cheese plus baked beans. The event went very well. We got home around 11:30pm.

Sunday - After church we attended the church carry-in dinner. Chicken, mashed potatoes, mac and cheese, green beans and many desserts were on hand for consumption. Good stuff, but I think it was the cause of a few of us being sick in the following 24 hours. Anyway, we took my daughter’s friend back to New Castle and then made our way to Muncie for “Blue’s Clues Live” at the Muncie Civic Theatre. I think my oldest had the most fun revisiting his childhood (he watched a lot of Blue’s Clues). I found myself singing those old familiar songs. Back at home we washed and cleaned out the cars. My daughter even did the dishes without asking. Well, it may be because I started paying for their service. I started a chart of chores and put dollar amounts with them. For example, mowing the yard earns $10, washing the car $3, dishes $1 and so on. It seems to be working. My house is staying cleaner. Once the kiddos were returned, Angie and I took a walk and then watched an episode of “Tattoo Highway” that I got from Real Television. Looks like a good show. For the record, I love tattoos - I just won’t put one on my body :-)
