The Dirty Frog Network
Dirty Frog Media is a virtual company that provides affordable web services to individuals and small businesses in East Central Indiana.
The Dirty Frog story begins in 2005 following a life-changing event. I thought it would be a good idea to sell homemade soap and candles online. It turns out the market is quite saturated with homemade soap and candles. LOL! Neverless, I made soap and melted soy wax into candles for the heck of it. Many relatives and friends received these homemade products as gifts over the next two years
The logo for Dirty Frog was inspired by a ringtone website called “Dirty Hippo”. I wanted the logo to represent the fairy tale frog character who is dirtied by life, but yet, is still a prince - the Dirty Frog.
Two rounds of t-shirts have been produced. The first round was a full-color version that cost a fortune to produce. The second round were black and white and were made as promotional items for the chilli cookoff in Farmland, Indiana.
Since the soap and candles idea didn’t pan out, I decided to name my freelance web design service as Dirty Frog Media.
Real Television was born in the summer of 2003. I became intrigued by all the reality shows on television, particularly “Paradise Hotel” and “Temptation Island”. So, I started collecting news and information about reality shows from various sources on the internet and put them in one place: Real Television.
Reality Space is the sister website to Real Television. Reality Space is a place to have discussions with other fans of Reality TV. Reality Space was started in January of 2008.
Solaris Central is a human edited blog containing news and articles relating to everything Solaris, the Sun Microsystems’ Operating System.
Solaris Central was created in the fall of 1999 as the hobby site of Duane Gran while employed at SpinWeb Net Designs, Inc. (now known as SpinWeb Internet Media, Inc. located in Muncie and Indianapolis, Indiana).
In February 2008, Solaris Central became an “Open Blog” letting users join in helping add content to the site.
