Wall-E Weekend

Wow, that was a long week! Monday I was in Indianapolis trying to catch up from vacation. Tuesday, I was running around Muncie meeting with WGE and MSD (feel free to guess the acronyms). Wednesday was another trip to Indy to meet with Hazel Walker and then attend my first BNI meeting of Keystone Lunch. After work, I went to Methodist Hospital with Angie (her grandmother was there). Thursday morning found me on-the-air at 1240 WHBU promoting SpinWeb and discussing all things internet. Later that day, Angie and I found this neat little restaurant/bar to eat at…wonderful sandwiches. Friday, I met Mike and we had lunch with a client before a presentation later in the day. Late that afternoon, I met with Mary-Ellen Bertram about her website.

So, we’re up to Friday night. Whew!

Friday - Angie and I stayed in and watch another “Sundance” film. This one was much, much better. It was called “Seeing Other People” with Jay Mohr.

Saturday - I met the kids at the ball park because my daughter had pictures and was supposed to have a game. It rained. It rained a lot. But, she did get those pictures taken finally! :-)

My daughter was soaked to the bone, so we dried her clothes and I made lunch. I tried to get everyone to take a nap because we were going to the drive-in that night and the movie wouldn’t start till 10pm. Nope, they wanted to play video games and computer instead. After dinner, we watched “The Little Mermaid” until showtime. Angie and I loaded up the troops and we were off to Winchester’s Airline Drive-In for the movie “Wall-E”. Very cute movie. My little guy didn’t make it past the first 1/2 hour.

Sunday - The kids and I attended services at Union Chapel (Parker City, IN) in the morning. We had lunch, the kids played for a bit, then before I knew it…it was time for my oldest to go back to the church for youth group while the other two went to their Grandma’s. I, however, came back home and started mowing the lawn. With my Dad’s help, we had it finished in 3 hours.
