A Moving Week

Wednesday - I spent most of the day packing the office for the big office move from Muncie to Indianapolis. My daughter had a Softball game that night. She did pretty good :-)
Thursday - We had “Two Men and a Truck” move the SpinWeb Muncie office to Indianapolis. I had lunch with Bonnie, then made my way to Indy. Angie and I met up in the evening and we went and saw my niece Morgan who was in the hospital.
Friday - After work, I met up with my soon-to-be-bride and groom and they gave me a projector for the next days’ wedding reception. I stopped by Radio Shack for a microphone to replace by beloved wired mic that dissolved into pieces durning the Relay 4 Life the week before. I rented a movie on the way home, “Zodiac”. It was about the Zodiac Killer. Pretty good, but long. Angie and I had penne and marinara sauce and some great wine (a return present from Lee and Sonja).
Saturday - I picked up the kids at 10am. My daughter had softball practice at 2pm. The other two went to my dad’s house while Angie and I setup the DJ equipment at Cardinal Hills in Selma for Chad and Megan’s wedding reception. The reception went very well and we received many compliments. After packing up, we swung by Wal-Mart for Father’s Day cards.
Sunday - The kids and I attended church at UC south of Parker City, IN. After services, we took their grandma Alma into Muncie for a Taco Bell lunch. Back at Alma’s, we were rewarded with fresh eggs, homemade salsa and mulberries from her tree.
Back home, the kids and I washed the car. Lee came out to visit on his motorcycle. Before I knew it, it was time for the kiddos to go back to their mom’s.
After delivery, I headed to Chesterfield for dinner with Angie at Olive Garden. We only had the soup and salad, but it was yummy :-)
Monday - I spent the first day of my official vacation at the Indy office putting my stuff away from the move, working for a couple of clients and doing some freelance work. It was a very productive day. Later in the evening, I took a break and had Starbucks with Mike and his friend Sara.
